At Alpha Valley Boarding Kennel we strive to offer competitive rates to provide exemplary care to your beloved dogs, cats, and other pets. In an effort to provide the best care possible our rates vary by the type and size of animal and can include optional add-on care that you can tailor to suit their needs. This allows us to offer the most reasonable and competitive rates in the Rogue Valley to match the needs of each unique individual customer. We also offer discounts for extended stays as well as for boarding multiple dogs in a single kennel.

To ensure our rates are competitive and our services are accessible to everyone, we have opted to give our clients the option of picking and choosing which additional services we provide for their pets. These add-ons & extras are optional services we provide above and beyond the standard feeding, safeguarding, and caring for your animals. Don’t see an extra service your pet needs? Playtime, Recess, & Group PLay for dogs
Playtime and recess are extras that you can add-on to your dog's stay to enhance their experience!
Playtime is billed at $5/day, and ensures that your dog gets one-on-one attention with qualified staff in a secure yard. Our staff will work with your dog to ensure that your pet has their needs met. From tug-o-war to fetch or even just a good cuddle, we will play with them in whatever way they wish. Playtime can be done on a daily basis, or every other day.
Recess is billed at $2/day, and ensures that your dog gets an increased level of exercise. All of our dog boarding packages come with one free Recess Session per day, but purchasing an extra Recess Session ensures that dogs with high energy or that need extra exercise get the time to stretch their legs that they really need.
Does your dog do great with other dogs? Let us know and we will put them in our Group play! If you have already paid for Playtime, Group play is FREE OF CHARGE. Group play is always supervised by a staff member to insure the safety of all participating dogs.
Medication & Geriatric Care for dogs & cats
At Alpha Valley we pride ourselves on the level of effort and care we provide to our oldest and otherwise high-need clients. This includes caring for animals that may no longer be able to keep themselves clean, require complicated dietary care or medication schedules, and other special circumstances.
Boarding a dog who requires daily medication is a $10 flat fee.
Seniors Dog with a High Need level will be charged the Geriatric Price. It’s important for the health and well-being of your pets that we take the extra time to ensure that older animals get the comfort and care level they need in order to provide a positive and safe experience.

BathinG & TOenial Trimming for dogs
Worried that your dog may come home smelling like.... well, a kennel? Want a fresh and clean furry friend to pick up, giving you one less thing to worry about once you get home? Consider having Alpha Valley Boarding Kennel give your dog a professional bath before we send them home with you!
Bathing starts at $15, and can cost up to $45 for large, long-haired, or double-coated breeds.
Toenail trimming starts at $8.
Note: Dog baths are done on the day the dog is scheduled to go home. In order to have adequate time for our staff to professionally bathe and dry your dog, pickups must be scheduled for after 1:00PM. Thank you for your understanding!
